All Parents and Players must agree to and abide by this Athletic Contract when you register for any Hillsbough Youth Lacrosse program. In the event that someone violates the agreement, the coach, his designee or Program Supervisor has the right to banish that individual for a) an unspecified “cooling-off” period; b) the remainder of the game or practice; c) future games or practice; d) remainder of season; e) for life with no refund.
The purpose of this contract is to outline our goals for the season and establish expectations for all involved. As parents, we are in a responsible position to influence the development of our youth by acting as positive role models on and off the field. As players, we are responsible to play by the rules and to respect the players on our own team as well as those we compete against.
Parents Agree To:
I will support my child and his/her coach to the best of my ability.
I will reinforce the values, ethics and sportsmanship taught by our program.
I will cheer my team, not based upon score alone, but also based upon the effort given to achieve the best possible results.
I will serve as a good example in winning and losing situations so my child can benefit from my ability to respond positively to challenging experiences.
When faced with a difficult situation with an athlete, coach, other parent or official, I will conduct myself in a manner that represents our program, town and sport well. In addition, I will speak with my child to ensure the proper things are learned from such a situation.

Attend all practices and games as scheduled unless resolved by the coaching staff.
Practice hard and work to the best of my ability at all times.

Treat my coaches, teammates and opponents with respect.
Follow all team rules and regulations.
Refrain from actions, which would bring discredit to my team, my family, my school and myself.
